Brewster Ladies' Library Discovery & Enrichment Series Presents An Insider's View of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court

Ever wonder how our state court system works? The Brewster Ladies’ Library Association Discovery & Enrichment Series will host Supreme Judicial Court Associate Justice Scott Kafker, who will share his insider’s view of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court system. Justice Kafker will discuss how justices handle legal matters and what distinguishes state and federal jurisdictions. He was appointed to the Supreme Judicial Court in 2017 and served as the Chief Justice of the Appeals Court from 2015–2017 and as a Justice of this Court from 2001.
