Domestic and sexual violence cases come in many forms and are often unrecognized by others and underreported. Chris Morin is the Director of Prevention, Education, and Outreach at Independence House, the Cape’s leading resource, counseling, and advocacy center to address and prevent domestic and sexual violence among children, teens, and adults. She will provide a brief overview of the organization’s services, describe the signs of abuse, and explain what individuals can do as active bystanders to support survivors.
