BHS: A Taste of Brewster
Brewster Historical Society and Freeman’s Grill together with some of our favorite restaurants present a night of fun, food, and fundraising to bring the "White Lady" back to Brewster!
When shipmaster J. Henry Sears's ship Imperial wrecked off the New Jersey Coast in1876, he salvaged the ship’s figurehead and brought her home to Brewster. He painted her white and perched her on his dune overlooking Cape Cod Bay, where she was affectionately known throughout town as the White Lady.
