Shivkumar Sharma\, and Amit Kavthekar\, a tabla master trained by Ustad Allarakha and Ustad Zakir Hussain. Together\, they create a sonic landscape that is rich in rhythm\, melody\, and cultural heritage. Both artists have graced prestigious stages worldwide and collaborated with icons across Indian classical\, jazz\, and world music. Their dynamic interplay of strings and percussion offers a spellbinding fusion of tradition and innovation\, perfect for both seasoned listeners and curious newcomers. This concert is presented by Secret Planet Cape Cod - a co-production of Cape Symphony Presents and Narrowland Music. The Secret Planet series is an initiative rooted in a beloved NYC mini-fest and dedicated to promoting acoustic and traditional music\, and the communities that sustain it.
